This great quality mahogany extending dining table was made by Scottish cabinet makers Wylie & Lochhead, The company was founded in 1829 by Robert Wylie and William Lochhead they were very successful with many workshops and antique furniture showrooms in Glasgow,
The extending table has D shaped ends with three additional leaves and is raised on square tapered legs with spade feet, terminating on brass caps and ceramic castors,
It bears a Wylie and Lochhead label to the underside and the winding mechanism is stamped for Joseph Fitter Brittania works Birmingham.
Winder is present for extending and closing, would comfortably sit 10 people when fully extended. Free delivery within 50 miles.
For delivery we use a private carrier who has vast experience in delivering antiques,delivery is usually within 28 days and the carrier will make arrangements with you directly.
