Mahogany & Inlaid Centre Table
A superb quality Edwardian Sheraton Revival mahogany and inlaid small centre or large occasional table, of circular form. The top and apron both feature tulipwood banding with ebony and boxwood line inlay, raised on elegant boxwood line inlaid legs of square tapering form, united by shaped stretchers with a central turned finial.
Number stamped to underside of apron ‘20566’, most likely a model number from one of the great London makers such as Maple & Co.
Diameter 36” (91cm) Height 28” (71cm)
Condition & Details of Restoration
This item is in original structural condition. The polish has been re-finished, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some extremely minor old marks under the polish, but nothing serious or unsightly in our opinion the photographs are representative.
