Magnificent 18th C Campaign Trunk
A Good 18th Century Military Campaign Trunk in Padouk wood, with fine original patina, bearing a brass plate for the owner, 'Mr Forward, His Majesty's 21st Light Dragoons, Axminster, Devonshire'. The trunk circa 1760, probably Anglo-Indian, with typical brass mounts and hinges, with a later brass inscription plate circa 1795-1800 for the Militia Officer Mr Forward.
