This is a marvellous Vintage Emanuele Luzzati (1921-2007) Original Crayon & Pastel on Black Paper costume design for the Glyndebourne Festival production of the Don Quixote Opera c1965, which is framed and glazed.

It is in good condition with just a little age-related wear to the frame and measures approximately 49cm wide by 65.5cm high.

Emanuele Luzatti was an Italian painter, production designer, illustrator, film director and animator. He was nominated for Academy Awards for two of his short films, La gazza ladra (The Thieving Magpie) (1965) and Pulcinella (1973). He provided the Glyndebourne Festival Programme Cover Image used in 1964 & 1967.
