Sheila Tolley has been a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours since 1978. She became a full member of the Royal West of England Academy in 1992. She was included in the Seven Academicians Exhibition in 1996. She is a professional artist with wide ranging skills in all forms of art media. The images she depicts in her work represent simplification formed from a sheer inner excitement of observing and experiencing the colour, texture , balance and harmony found in all things.
