Liberty & Co "Hadcote" Vase by Frederick Rhead.
For sale today we have this stunning Liberty & Co "Hadcote" Vase, made by Wardle Pottery to a design by Frederick Rhead. Of solifleur form this gorgeous vase is glazed to a textured, mottled blue ground and features applied pale green flowers atop slender stems in an Art Nouveau style. 15 cm tall and stamped to the base "Made for Liberty & Co" along with it's shape number "4". Circa 1900-1910.
A very desirable piece that is presented to the market in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs to note just a small amount of glaze loss to the top rim (not at all unusual with these vases). Any questions please ask. A stunning addition to any serious art pottery collection.
