Liberty & Co Arts & Crafts Japanese Settle c1900
A rare and unusual Liberty & Co Japanese carved hardwood settle or conservatory bench, dating to circa 1900, and carved overall with Lotus flowers. Liberty & Co imported antique furniture from Japan (in flat pack form) as part of their Oriental theme in the late 19th Century, always with the same carved detail. I have seen many antique tables for sale but never before a settle. It is carved to the reverse of the back as well as the sides and would be ideal in a conservatory. Offered in good condition, commensurate with its age, it is strong and solid albeit with slight flex. It took my weight happily so most people won't have a problem...... It measures 91cm (36") wide, 94cm (37") high at the crest of the back and a maximum 49cm (19 1/4") deep.

Items are normally dispatched within 7 days of you placing an order with cleared payment.
Standard Furniture Delivery
You should receive the goods 10 - 14 days after ordering, more time is required for delivery to the Far North and Scotland. The furniture is sent with small independent and friendly couriers, who take very good care of the furniture whilst in transit. Delivery is to the door, but with request the driver will normally assist into a secure place, house, garage, outhouses, etc.
Levels Antiques do not accept responsibility for any damage caused on the customer's premises when the delivery is being made.
Drivers mobile number available for liaising on day of delivery. Only one delivery attempt will be made with arrangements for the drop off being made in advance.

RETURNS
Here at Levels Antiques we abide by the distance selling regulations (updated 13/6/14).
You have the right to cancel your order within 48 hours.
Once item/s are delivered you have 14 days to cancel the order. Return of your purchase(s) must be within 14 days of this cancellation date.
The cost of the item/s and any delivery charge paid by the buyer will be refunded, whilst the cost of returning the item/s is at the buyers’ own expense.
