Late Victorian Pine Cabinet Bookcase Victorian yellow pine two door %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Circa 1890, late Victorian yellow pine two door cabinet bookcase of generous proportions. The stylish simple cornice over two glazed doors with geometric astragal glazing. Inside are 3 solid adjustable shelves with stylish edging on the front. At the base are 2 doors with raised fielded panels, opening to reveal a single full sized shelf. The fore edges on the top and bottom have a chamfering. The whole piece stands on an enclosed plinth. The bookcase has been stripped and waxed, and has a nice mellow colour.

Size 246cm high x 150cm wide x 45cm deep.
