Circa 1880, Late Victorian oak open bookcase. It is surmounted by a simple classical cornice and frieze. The three upper bookcase sections each have four adjustable shelves with fluted pilasters, and are capped by foliate carved corbels on each side. The deeper base with a moulded edge to the top has three frieze drawers with cast brass handles, and sits above the three bookcase sections with each with a single shelf. It is all standing on an enclosed plinth base with a moulded edge.
