This late Victorian / Edwardian tub couch was re French polished a little while ago and has been in store pending re upholstery. The client is moving and has decided to sell the couch and hence it is now for sale. The upholstery has been unpicked on the corners to allow access to the wood to be French polished and will just go back when worked upon. It is available at a very sensible price, actually about the price of the polishing, and if required we can organise the reupholstery if we supply the fabric, otherwise it may be sold as is and you can upholster yourself. A rather pretty little couch that is unobtrusive but still easily strong enough to use a seating and still looks great, a little shorter than a normal 'chaise longue' and rather more useful giving two useable seats. Nice detail in the back and a finely turned leg make this couch a most desirable item. Can go in almost any room in the house from a bedroom to a sitting room.(photographed in our store rooms so maybe not the best setting) We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
