Late c18th French walnut commode chest of drawers
Lovely early c19th French walnut and inlaid two drawer commode chest of drawers with original brass handles and a fantastic colour tone too.
The chest is in really lovely condition, fully cleaned and polished and has a beautiful warm tone.
The chest would have had originally two locks for the drawers, but these have been removed at some point in its lifetime.
The drawers run well and give good storage if you are looking at this piece as a bedroom storage item, but this style of chest would happily sit as an alternative to a traditional console table or a living room piece.
Measuring:
32 3/4” or 83cm high
45” or 114.5cm wide
