Fabulous William IV mahogany combination wardrobe and press c.1835. Tall side pods fitted with rails for full length hanging either side of a shorter middle section with two door cupboard top with a single shelf over a useful chest of four long drawers of graduated depth. Pointed arch door panels with beautifully figured mahogany veneers set within a crossbanded surround with gadroon carved edges and applied acanthus leaf carvings. Moulded cornice and plinth, original turned mahogany drawer knobs and original locks. Superior quality with solid mahogany groundwork to the doors, solid sides and drawer linings. Excellent condition and lovely mellow colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied. Splits into three pieces plus plinth for delivery.
