Large Wedgwood dragon lustre vase, c1930


Wedgwood dragon lustre vase, pattern Z4829, designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones and produced c1920/30s.
This vase has a blue lustre exterior, a white interior and blue/oyster lustre on the inside rim.
The external design features a single large gilt dragon, with a top and bottom frieze of geometric and floral patterns.
The vase is marked with the Wedgwood backstamp, and the pattern number "Z4829".
The vase measures approximately 32 cm (12.5") tall, and is 11.5 cm (4.5") in diameter at its widest.
The vase is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or restorations. There is only minimal wear to the edge gilding.
