This is a large vintage pantagraph. An English, brass scientific mapping instrument, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950.
Fascinating scale and mechanical interest
Displays a desirable aged patina
Bright brass finish with appealing golden tones
Dark painted frame in good order
Extends to a maximum depth of 155.5cm (61.25")
Pleasingly knurled adjustment knobs
Rolling on a trio of smooth castors
Engraved to the top with the initials W.F.S. a serial number and the MoD pheon broad arrow mark
