Large Victorian Stripped Pine chest of drawers
A Large Victorian Stripped Pine chest of drawers
A Large Victorian Pine chest of drawers dates from 1890 it has been stripped and waxed.
This is a very good Quality pine chest, the large five drawer version like this one is becoming a lot less common these days.
The chest has a moulded edge to the top and stands on chunky turned wooden feet, it has two short drawers at the top and three longer graduated drawers beneath, the drawers have original turned wooden knobs and Brass escutcheons
This is a very good quality and very sturdy chest of drawers, the pine is very good quality there are signs of Old wood worm but this was killed in the stripping process .
