A Very Large heavy Victorian Pitch Pine Chest of drawers
It is pretty unusual to find a piece like this, Pitch pine is a very good quality pine with a very attractive grain, The chest is in its original varnished finish which is in good condition on the front though the top has a few scratches
The chest has two short drawers over three very big drawers, ( the bottom one or blanket drawer is 14” deep and ideal for storage , one of the handles has been replaced so does not quite match the rest and it stands on chunky turned feet
The chest is in good order but be warned it is large and very heavy so please make sure that you have adequate access, there is no splitting loose joints or woodworm
