Large, solid pine late Victorian chest of drawers (2 over 3). This piece has been previously stripped and sanded back. It has been repaired as appropriate and re waxed by us. Free from worm or damage, some small marks under the wax to the top. Dovetailed jointed drawers all of which are clean inside with no ink or make up stains etc. The drawers all run smoothly and the runners and stays (which keep the drawers in the correct alignment) are all present and in good order. This example retains its original panwel back, large bulb feet, brassware and hardwood knobs, rustic yet clean look and feel with character.
