Circa 1860, exhibition quality, large Victorian burr walnut Sutherland tea table with a rare quadruple gate-leg action. The shaped oval top in mirror-matched burr walnut with a cushion moulded edge, supported on four acanthus-carved, hipped cabriole legs with scrolled toes containing hidden brass castors. All rotating on a central column with an inverted finial.
