Large Scottish Wemyss Ware Black Hens Tankard


Large size early Scottish Wemyss ware tankard with handle. Green rim and green decorated handle. The main body decorated with black cockerels amongst the grass. Impressed mark to the base along with the painted T. Goode mark. Small chip to the underside of the base which can't be seen unless turned upside down and a slight glazing hairline to the inside, not a crack as it doesn't go right through.
