Large Mahogany Extending table and 10 chairs
The top on this table has just been French polished and is now in great condition of course. The table is 317cms long and sits with the matching set of ten chairs perfectly.
This table base with its attractive cabriole leg and crinoline stretcher is the correct match for the chairs, it has been cleaned and rewaxed. The whole suite is a rare find and looks handsome with the Queen Anne style chairs.
The table can be used with all the leaves or any combination up to the three that are with this table. In fact it would take another leaf.
The table at over 10ft long is a really good length and can seat more than the ten if needed.
For sale as a suite, it is keenly priced and we can organise the rupholstery of the seats if required. We will do this at cost (£25 + vat per seat plus 3m of fabric) if the new owner would like us to. The chairs are impressive with the high back that has good detail in the top rail, the seats have a serpentine front rail and the rear legs are shaped and terminate in a pad foot, very rare indeed.......SORRY NOW RESERVED............ We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
