Early 19th Century Large Inlaid Walnut and Satinwood Chest of Drawers

This is a wonderful looking piece, the chest is in Walnut the veneers are of the finest quality, they are excellently matched, even at the sides care has been taken to select the finest of materials. The top of the chest and the drawer fronts have a wide satinwood bordered edge and also a fine shaped inlay matched on the front and on the top of the chest.
The Chest of Drawers with two short drawers at the top and two longer graduated drawers beneath, these drawers are very deep much deeper than would be found in a later piece, they have brass swan neck handles, brass escutcheons and it stands on a deep bracket footed plinth
The chest is of very solid construction it has no creaks, woodworm and the drawers run very smoothly, an excellent piece in looks and quality
The chest measures 39” high 47” wide and 21” deep
