Large High Quality Antique Seven Drawer Chest
A lovely antique mahogany chest. We date this chest to the very early 1900s.
The chest sits on four shapely bracket feet.
The chest consists of seven drawers arranged three small drawers at the top over two drawers and two full width drawers at the base.
The drawers are fitted with drop handles mounted on circular backplates. It is a high quality chest and has been constructed using solid mahogany for all the drawer linings.
There is a small gallery to the rear and sides of the top surface.
The chest has a height of 37.5" (95cm) including the gallery, a table top height of 36” (92cm), a width of 43" (109cm) and a depth of 22" (56cm).
This lovely chest remains in very good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is minor wear to some of the edges including a chip to the right hand side back leg. The top surface has some very minor indents with some slightly darker marks that can be seen in the pictures.
This remains a very stylish and elegant chest which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
