Large Heavy Decorated Japanese Lacquer Room Divider Screen

This impressive screen has four superbly decorated panels, if the screen is opened flat the picture on one side continues through the panels. The picture show an outdoor scene with pagodas set around people in social pursuits
This is all in relief and has a Gold Leaf backdrop, the screen stands on copper feet
The reverse side of the screen is also decorated in relief with birds and trees

The screen is in generally good condition with only minor chipping
The screen is 72” high and when fully extended it is 64” wide The 4 panels are each 16” wide
