Large Gothic revival oak lectern c.1870. Very heavily constructed in solid oak throughout. 37½” x 48″ top with a moulded edge and good raised gallery at the bottom to hold a book or papers. Shaped sides with crisp carved Gothic detail front and rear. Joined with a thick chamfered stretcher and raised on large moulded feet. Some minor wear but generally excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
