A fabulous and large late 19th Century Goldscheider figure of a boy fishing signed by Petri. The boy decorated in muted shades of buff, gold and green holding a fish in his left hand and a rod in his right. He sits perched on a rock beside a large glass bowl. Austrian, Circa 1890. The glass bowl is broken and crudely repaired but present, and the fishing rod is a later replacement. Overall, a lovely example of this rare factories work.
