Antique large Georgian late 18th or early 19th Century mahogany chest of drawers.

This is a lovely chest, that is full of age and character.

A rare quality piece with clean simple lines. Solid mahogany top, sides and drawer fronts.

The drawers slide freely. We have no keys and the locks are consequently untested.

Note that this items splits into two parts for transport or getting upstairs.

Overall maximum dimensions 100cmW x 53cmD x 108cmH (69cmH bottom + 40cmH top).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Replacement handles. There are historical marks and stains inside the drawers as is always the case. There are a few historical woodworm holes, believed extinct, that we have treated for good measure.

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 (more if an awkward route or stairs are involved) strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
