Large Georgian mahogany breakfront bookcase

Fine large size Georgian mahogany breakfront bookcase. Great proportions with low waist and very nice timbers used throughout.
The bottom section with flame veneered panels with mahogany cross banding to the doors. Stands on a plinth with typical Georgian moulding to the top. Astragal moulding to the top of the bottom section with cross banding above. Four cupboards each with an adjustable shelf inside.
The top section with four doors of traditional square astragal glazing bars with plenty of glass. Nice shape cornice above. The sections with four adjustable shevles in each, the shelves with nicely moulded front edges. Most of the glass is original.
The piece is in good overall condition, it obviously has a few age knocks and dents etc. but there are no bad repairs. Most of the locks have been replaced with later 19th century ones but they all have keys and are working. The way the shelves are held in has also been altered in the 19th century from wooden pegs to brass pegs but this is a minor point.
The colour is good and original.
SIZES 105" wide which is just under 9 feet. 18" from front to back at the widest point in the middle and it stands 93" high overall. The height to the waist is 34" from the ground.
