Large Georgian mahogany 19C gate leg dining table
Antique large Georgian mahogany 19C gate leg dining table.
This is a lovely table, that is full of age, charm and character.
A solid table with no loose joints, with lovely simple turned legs.
Good large proportions for a table of this type and no significant woodworm.
Standing on period castors, with some wear (as one would expect).
Would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 170cmL (52.5cmL closed) x 114cmW x 74cmH.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There is a very slight curl to the leaves, but not more than would be classed as normal and does not affect use. There are some light marks and scratches to the top, but less than one might expect, suggesting a repolish 10 to 20 years ago.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person to assist our driver.
