An impressive and large French Style freestanding walnut pedestal desk.The oval top having a gold and blind tooled writing surface within walnut cross banding. Below are 3 frieze drawers with cast brass embellishments. The bow fronted pedestals having cupboard doors with further mounts and open to shelved interiors. The breakfront stiles having applied faux marble columns with classical cast mounts. The reverse having matching mounts and the whole raised on break fronted plinths with further cast mounts. Condition- Very good with working locks & keys. Dimensions:- Height…32.5’’/ 82.5cm. Width…73’’/ 185.5cm. Depth…34’’/ 86.5cm. Kneehole Height…26’’/ 66cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £85.
