A lovely oak filing cabinet. We date this cabinet to the early 20th century.

The cabinet has attractive carvings at the top front with a label for Advance System below.

The cabinet sits on four square section feet.

The cabinet has five graduated drawers, the bottom three are deeper filing cabinets. The files can be brought forward by releasing a catch at the rear.

The drawers are fitted with brass handles and the three filing drawers have an extra brass button handle at the base.

The cabinet has an overall height of 64" (163cm), a width of 18.5" (47cm) and a depth of 28" (73cm).

Internally the drawers have a width of 14” (35cm) wide.

This attractive cabinet remains in a good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is a bit of surface finish wear to the top surface from past use and wear to the feet. There is an old repair where the top lock was and there is some minor play within the cabinet.

This remains a very stylish & elegant antique cabinet. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
