Large Camphorwood Campaign Trunk
A handsome, fine quality, and generously proportioned camphorwood and brass bound campaign trunk with bold brass carrying handles to each end. Originally used to transport officer’s belongings in the field, these trunks are most often used as coffee antique tables with storage in the modern home. This example is of a particularly good colour and bears the wonderful aroma of camphor when opened.

Condition & Details of Restoration
This item is in original structural condition with no splits. The polish has been refinished, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some old marks under the polish in our opinion the photographs are representative.
