A late 19th. Century, large camphor wood campaign travelling trunk with protective brass straps, corners and escutcheon plates. The lid is lifted by 2 sunken brass handles and the void interior offers a large storage area. To each end are metal carrying handles and this trunk benefits from dovetailed joints and 2 locks (no key). Ideal size to be used as a coffee table. In good overall condition with 1or 2 bumps and bruises associated with age and use. Sizes- Width...44''...112cm. Depth...22''...56cm. Height...21''...53.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £48.
