Large Antique Swedish Bleached Oak Dresser
This is a magnificent antique Swedish bleached oak country dresser from Halsingland in the far north of Sweden & it’s solid oak dating to around the 1890-1910 period. It’s a great looking piece of antique furniture & is not too high, quite wide & narrow in depth. It could look good in many parts of the home. The cornice is doubled domed & the top section is all astral-glazed with two doors. The inside back is panelled & the shelves inside are shaped. On the bottom section are two drawers with two panels on the sides & it sits on bun feet. The drawers have brass handles, escutcheons & locks. This cabinet is very fine quality, very heavy & comes apart into two sections.
