Offered for sale is this good quality Victorian mahogany telescopic dining table extending from approximately 57" x 47" to 93" x 47" with two original leaves, a comfortable 10 seater. It is a rich dark conker brown mahogany colour. The rectangular top has canted corners with a moulded edge above turned and fluted supports with carved shoulders and standing on brass and ceramic castors. The extending mechanism works very smoothly and comes complete with winding handle. The table has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition and dates to about 1890. Over the past 30 years we have sold over a thousand sets of chairs along with hundreds of dining tables to satisfied customers.
