Offered for sale is this superb quality mahogany rectangular D ended Chippendale style extending dining table measuring approximately 83" x 39" extending to 118" x 39" with two leaves and dating to about 1920. The table has a gadrooned edge above cabriole supports with carved shoulders and ball and claw feet with original brass and ceramic castors seating 12 people. The table is in excellent showroom condition having been sympathetically repolished and the extending mechanism works very smoothly and comes complete with winding handle. The table is unusually narrow at 39".
