Offered for sale is this superb quality large mahogany Chippendale style extending dining table measuring approximately 71" x 54" extending to 106" x 54" with two leaves. The oval top has a gadrooned edge above cabriole supports with crisply carved shoulders and ball and claw feet with original brass sactors. The table is well proportioned and is of above average quality ands in excellent showroom condition having been sympathetically repolished and the extending mechanism, complete with winding handle works very smoothly. It is a comfortable 10 seater and is an early example of this model dating to about 1900.
