This large floor standing Chinese porcelain vase is a fine example with exquisite hand painted enamel detail and is most imposing in any room.
The vase dates from around 1870 and is finely detailed with hand painted panels in enamel depicting Chinese courtly life with Emperor, dignitaries and many other courtiers. The vase is embellished with gilded dragon handles and mythical beasts. This is in good sound order despite the base having had some historical damage and is quite the eye catching piece in a room setting measuring 80 cms in height by 36 cms in diameter. An appropriate Chinese Hardwood urn stand would give it even greater impact. This one shown in the photograph is currently available in stock. Please see our other items.
