A Large 19th Century Italian Walnut Drapers Table with Four Drawers.
This grand piece is much larger than usual and has a two planked top, outlined with further planks having a decorative, moulded and shaped edge. The six supports below are elaborately carved, of cabriole form with paw feet. These rest upon a chamfered platform stretcher. The base then rests upon three carved supports or feet. The walnut is of very good colour with a nice depth of patination.
A very attractive example.
