A Large 18th Century French Walnut Farmhouse Table.
The table is of pegged construction and consists of three planks of walnut for the top, of exceptional colour, with rounded corners and cleated ends, which overhangs the base. All of the timber used is of good quality but the three planks for the top are extremely well figured, consisting of two lovely pieces of bookmatched timbers on the edge of the table top, with a nicely chosen centre plank, making this one of the nicest antique tables we have seen for a long time.
Fabulous colour, being wonderfully aged, and with charming wear.
