Antique large 18C oak coffer.

Lovely proportions, age and style.

This is an 18C coffer with later carving and alterations.

This piece of antique furniture would look great in the right location, with lovely carved decoration.

Overall dimensions 1300mmW x 550mmD x 720mmH.

Historical knocks, marks, cracking, repairs and alterations as one would expect, given the age of the piece. There is some historic woodworm that we have treated for good measure. We think that the coffer has been French polished fairly recently, but still retains much of its rustic charm and character. There is no key and the lock is untested.
