Antique marble etagere (probably French).

Dating from the early 20C, this elegant piece of antique furniture appears to constructed from various woods, possibly including kingwood, walnut and beech.

This is a beautiful item, with a lovely age, colour and patina.

This table is larger than most examples of this type.

Maximum overall dimensions 680mm W (excluding 2 x 45mm handles) x 480mmD x 910mmH.

The marble top tier measures 570mmW x 370mmD (280mmH clear space between the two tiers).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, distortion, imperfections, wear, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture. Some marks and scratches to the marble top as one might expect. No loose joints, however this is a delicate style of table.

A few small bits of ormalu/brass decoration are missing from the top of the legs, there are a few veneer imperfections/repairs. There is a plywood ground for both the marble and parquetry tiers. There is a little historic distortion to the long slender legs as is common.
