Jorge Aguilar Agon Spanish Oil Fishing Boats
We are delighted to offer for sale this well executed oil on canvas by the Spanish artist JORGE AGUILAR-AGON, who has signed the painting in the lower right hand corner Aguilar A. The painting depicts a Spanish coastal scene, with several fishing boats anchored off the beach with a figure by the anchor chain in the foreground. There are two other figures wading in the sea near the boats.
This is one of a pair of paintings by this artist that we are listing, both in his own inimitable style, with areas of heavy impasto.
JORGE AGUILAR-AGON 1936- is a Spanish landscape and still life artist, predominately in oil, who was born in Barcelona in 1936 and has studios is France, Spain and London. His style is romantic impressionism. He speaks seven languages. After receiving a university education, he mixed in the art circles in Munich and Montmartre in Paris.
He held his first exhibition at the Medici Society in London and since then has had 178 individual exhibitions worldwide, as well as 7 world tours and 114 group exhibitions. He has had 75 art reproductions made of his work, several of which have become Fine ArtTrade Guild best sellers. For a fuller biography and examples of his work, please visit his website on google.

The painting is framed in a 2 5/8" wooden frame and gilt slip and will be supplied wired and ready to hang.
