A fine John Rose Coalport porcelain circular tea plate with a deep mazarine blue ground with shaped reserves painted with floral sprays in bright enamels and ornate gilt decoration. Unmarked, c.1820.

Reference: Coalport, Messenger, colour plate 10.

It measures 23.6cm (9 1/4") wide and 3.8cm (1 1/2") high.

In good condition: it has had a small, neat repair at the rim, please see the final photographs. No other damage, repair or restoration and very minor handling wear, mainly just to the gilt on the rim. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
