A superb 19th Century papier mache tilt top pedestal table by the famous maker Jennens and Bettridge. The top is beautifully painted with a floral bouquet and the outer rim and pedestal are decorated with a profusion of trailing golden foliage. The table is well presented in good condition, there is evidence of some historic restoration to the rim and some slight wear to the surface decoration. This is a very pretty table and one of the best we have ever had. A high quality piece from a much sought after maker.
