Fantastic Japanese Tansu chest in original condition. The handles, mounts and other decorative iron ware are all original. This two part chest has two sets of iron carry handles to the sides, the base set flip up to secure the top section. Over many years of use it has collected some imperfections however these only add to its appeal as a very functional antique.
