Jacobean Style Small Oak Coffer Coffer Chest Blanket %%alt5%%
A delightful and superior quality early 20th Century panelled small coffer in the Jacobean taste, in beautifully coloured English oak, with lift-up lid, and raised on high stile feet. This coffer features particularly finely detailed carving to the front, and a maker’s mark of a carved owl and the initials ‘PTS’ to the right hand side.

Condition & Details of Restoration
This item is in original condition, and is structurally completely sound. The polish has been revived by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. It was ‘distressed’ when made, i.e. marks and scratches were deliberately added to mimic the appearance of the 17th century antique furniture it aspires to emulate.
