Circa 1900, Jacobean style oak chest of drawers. The chest has a solid oak top with a moulded edge. Below the top is configuration of 2 short and 3 further large drawers. All the drawer fronts have panels, beadings and chamfered corners, with cast brass drop handles with a wonderful back plate. Each drawer also has a small brass escutcheon. On the front fore edges there are ribbed pilasters and below the bottom drawer is a large double ogee moulding which also runs around the sides. The chest stands on 4 rectangular block feet. Light in colour, excellent condition.
