Superb George III mahogany serving sideboard, probably Irish c.1800. Single piece solid mahogany top with a raised gallery and plate stand. Serpentine fronted and with an applied reeded edge. Over a long drawer at the centre flanked by deep bow fronted drawers to either side. Lovely flame mahogany veneered drawer fronts with lion’s mask handles. Raised on fine turned legs with reeded upper sections and terminating in splendid carved lion’s paw feet. Carved fan detail brackets below the centre drawer and flower garland on the gallery. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
