Inlaid Mahogany Coffer Mule Chest Ottoman Log Bask
Antique Eastern inlaid mahogany (or similar locally sourced hardwood) coffer mule chest ottoman log basket.
Would look great in the right location.
This is a beautiful item, with a lovely age and colour.
Heavy, solid, with no loose joints.
We are unsure of the age of this item, but think that it could be late 19C or early 20C.
Separates into two parts for transport.
Strong brass loops are fitted to both sides for lid stay cords (no cords fitted).
Lovely proportions and Eastern styling... a great look.
We have a key for the chest, but no keys for the drawers (and these locks are consequently untested).
Maximum overall dimensions 1200mmW x 690mmD x 1000mmH.
Internal dimensions 1030mmW x 530mmD (front to back) x 470mmH (inc. candle box space)
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, imperfections, scratches, chips, repairs and alterations, as is always the usually the way with antique furniture.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 (more if possible) strong able-bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
