Very long antique mahogany & Kingwood console or server table, with an inverted serpentine shaped front. It's in excellent condition having just been polished & I would date it to around the 1930's period. This table is a very impressive piece of antique furniture & has many fine features. The table top is a beautifully patterned Kingwood with satinwood inlay & cross banding in mahogany. There are three drawers with grooved fronts & very detailed floral carving in the middle. The drawers all have baize lined partitions inside, probably meant for cutlery. There are inlaid panels above the front legs. The turned legs are finely carved on the tops & fluted in the middle. The sides of this table are also finely detailed.
